I have a Cambridge CELTA qualification (teaching English to speakers of other languages) and a BSc degree from the University of Bath. 

I have experience of teaching general English and preparing students for exams such as ESOL.

I plan my lessons specifically to the needs of my students and I make the most of every minute of the lesson so that students can be sure they are getting value for money. 

​

I have a clear, British standard accent and I correct all of my students' pronunciation and grammar errors so they can feel confident they are speaking English correctly.

​

I have lived in Hong Kong, the UK, the US and Spain. In Spain I taught English at Vaughan Systems, Zaragoza from March 2019  to January 2021 and studied Spanish to B1 intermediate level. I am passionate about meeting people and making friends from other countries and cultures. I have taught students from Afghanistan, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Moldova, Oman, Pakistan, Spain, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Syria, Romania, Taiwan, Turkey and Ukraine.

Since January 2021, I have been a freelance, English-language teacher based in the UK. I consistently

receive high scores for my evaluations and great testimonials from my students.
